About Wings
Wings is a parenting app and free educational library for families raising kids 2-14.
Mission
We're building tools for parents who want their kids to think well, not just answer correctly. Open-ended questions, real activities, no leaderboards, no dopamine loops.
In a world where AI answers everything, the ability to ask better questions is the new superpower. Wings exists to give parents practical tools to develop that ability in their kids — five minutes at a time.
Hi – we're the two parents who built Wings.
We're not a faceless edtech company. We're two people who spent years building real careers – engineering, launching factories abroad, selling equipment around the world, shipping IT products – all while raising our own kids. So we learned, the hard way, how to give a child a lot in very little time. That, in a nutshell, is Wings.

Vitaly Kust LinkedIn
Engineer by training, builder by nature. He set up manufacturing in Taiwan, sold equipment internationally, and built and launched IT products from the ground up. At home: a proud dad to a genuinely talented kid.

Lubov Borisova LinkedIn
Also an engineer. She ran a manufacturing company, grew equipment sales across international markets, and brought IT products to life and to market. At home: mom of two grown kids already making their own way – and doing it well.
We tried everything in Wings on our own kids first. And we didn't invent the method from scratch – we leaned on people who've studied this far longer than we have: Dweck, Goleman, Lythcott-Haims, Covey, Doidge, and Clear.
Our consultants
We don't do this alone. We build Wings alongside professional educators, child psychologists, and teachers who work with approaches like Montessori, Doman, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf – plus neuro-exercises for focus and self-control. They keep us honest – and everything age-appropriate.
Methodology
Every Wings activity is grounded in these books:
- 📘 Stephen Covey — 7 Habits of Highly Effective People & Families
- 📘 James Clear — Atomic Habits
- 📘 Carol Dweck — Mindset
- 📘 Julie Lythcott-Haims — How to Raise an Adult
- 📘 Daniel Goleman — Emotional Intelligence
- 📘 Norman Doidge — The Brain That Changes Itself
Age-appropriate content calibrated by developmental psychology research. No quizzes with wrong answers — we evaluate how a child reasons, not what they pick.
